Harassment includes: offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, physical appearance, body size, race, religion; sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation, stalking, following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption during the workshop; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.

The BELIV workshop organizers, in the course of enforcing this position may, at their discretion, ask an individual to stop some behavior, warn the individual of their violation, or further sanction the individual. If the offensive behavior is displayed by a participant of the IEEE VIS conference, consequences may include escalating to the VIS leadership. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If you observe or are subject to any behavior that violates these expectations please contact a BELIV workshop organizer. You can contact any organizer directly, or through beliv.workshop@gmail.com.
